NORMAL In Schools (NIS) is a national nonprofit arts-and-education organization that educates about the devastating impact of eating disorders, the therapeutic impact of the arts, and related issues such as body image, self esteem and family communication.

Programs include: Live tours of the NIS program (a Jonathan Larson award-winning rock musical followed by a talkback with expert panelists), NIS Curriculum, INSIDE OUT (Celebrating inner beauty through theatre, music and art), SELF ESTEEM STOMP (a family event with an interactive experiential “playground”), TEAM NORMAL (education for athletes and sports teams) and (coming soon) the online NIS Program.
